Chimayo Earth: SW-12A Rug
Description
Inspired by the blankets of Pendleton Wollen Mills, the Pendleton Reserve collection is hand-knotted on an upright loom, using approximately 80 knots to the square inch. We use premium New Zealand wool and colorfast Swiss Chrome dyes to produce a rug that will provide beauty and durability for your lifetime. The wool is handspun, yielding varying diameters, so that when dyed a delightful, variegated color is achieved, giving the rug a rich and subtle blend of colors.
The intricate stripes are inspired by the works of skilled weavers from the village of Chimayo, New Mexico. Multicolored horizontal stripes in earth tones of green, gold, aubergine, brown and terra cotta. Available in 4x6, 6x9, 8x10, 9x12, 10x14, 12x16 and runners (6', 8', 10', and 12').
